This program is to relieve the financial hardships of a grandparent or older individual, age 60+ or older who is the primary caregiver of a minor child. The minor must be eighteen (18) or younger and live in the home of the grandparent or older individual.
Financial reimbursement is provided for the grandparent or older individual’s medical or dental expenses. Priority for financial assistance is given to the grandparent or older individual with the greatest economic need with particular attention to low income individuals.
