Job Creation. A business considering creating new jobs in Palm Beach County may direct their inquiries concerning the Job Growth Incentive (JGI) Grant Program to the Palm Beach County Department of Economic Sustainability or the Business Development Board (BDB) of Palm Beach County, Inc.. The BDB will help a local business or a company considering relocating to Palm Beach County or establishing a facility in this County with any questions regarding the JGI Program, including the requirements of the program and preparing a JGI application. There is a diversity of products and services provided by the JGI grant recipients. PROGRAM OVERVIEW & REQUIREMENTS
JGI GRANT FUNDS & QTI LOCAL MATCH Agency Coordination. The Palm Beach County Department of Economic Sustainability or the Business Development Board will assist a JGI applicant with the State of Florida Qualified Target Industry (QTI) Tax Refund Program. In the event the company files a QTI application with Enterprise Florida, Inc. and enters into an agreement with Florida's Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), Division of Strategic Business Development (DSBD) to receive State tax refunds pursuant to the QTI Program as set forth in Chapter 288, Florida Statutes, as may be amended, the following shall apply:
