The County Engineer is authorized to make certain exceptions to the platting requirement for certain types of minor subdivision. After review of a preliminary subdivision plan, the County Engineer may determine that the proposed subdivision meets one of the conditions specified in Sec. 11.A.8.B, ULDC, and may waive the requirement to record a plat. A certified survey is then recorded in lieu of a plat, along with an affidavit documenting approval of the waiver and establishing restrictive covenants as needed for the subdivision.
