Volunteers should wear long pants, t-shirts, boots or sneakers. Restroom facilities are available at Lighthouse Park. We will be working in brush-filled areas so volunteers should wear old clothes and shoes. Since we will be working through lunch I will provide a more “hearty” snack to volunteers.

Volunteers should wear old clothes and shoes as we will be working around a wetland area. Some of the planting areas may be wet and muddy. Hats and sunscreen are recommended as we will be working in an open area with little to no shade. Restroom facilities (port-a-lets) are available in the parking lot. The Department will supply tools, gloves, and refreshments for the volunteers. Event participation will be limited to the first 30 volunteers who register.

Volunteers can register for any, or all, of these events by either calling Ann Mathews at 561-233-2426 or emailing Ann at amathews@co.palm-beach.fl.us. Thanks for helping the Department keep Palm Beach County clean and green.
