Protection of Native Vegetation

PALM BEACH COUNTY ORDINANCE 2009-040 PDF

History: Code Revisions for Vegetation Protection PDF

Native vegetation is protected in a pro-active manner within areas of unincorporated Palm Beach County through implementation of the Unified Land Development Code (ULDC), Article 14.C Vegetation Preservation and Protection. The County encourages preservation and protection of native vegetation by promoting the incorporation and relocation of existing native vegetation into the site plan.

The goal is to minimize the loss of native vegetation during site development for projects that are subject to the code.
