Abrams Has Roundtable Meeting with a Community Group

At his Delray Beach office site, Commissioner Abrams had a roundtable meeting with a community group composed of residents of Highland Beach, Boca Raton and surrounding communities.  At the March 3rd meeting, the commissioner updated them on the most current county-related issues.  A variety of topics were discussed, including the challenges the board has to face in the 2010-2011 budget year, the role of the newly formed ethics office, use of federal stimulus funds and public safety issues.  After his presentation, the commissioner welcomed questions and comments.
