Belle Glade Shelter Closed; EOC Changes to Level III Activation (Monitoring)

The Palm Beach County shelter located at Lake Shore Middle School, 425 W Canal St. No., Belle Glade has closed as of 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. There is no longer anyone in need of sheltering. There are no plans to open any other shelters within Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach County is no longer under Tropical Storm Warning and winds and rain have diminished in the area.

The Palm Beach County Emergency Operations Center is now at a Level III activation (monitoring).
