*** SPECIAL TRAFFIC NEWS RELEASE***
• LOCATION: Congress Ave. from Donnelly Dr. to Hypoluxo Rd. (west of the Town of Lantana)
DESCRIPTION: Replacing FPL poles.
RESTRICTIONS: On August 20th and 21st from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. there will be one southbound lane of traffic. This will not effect the northbound traffic.

1. LOCATION: Forest Hill Blvd. from Wellington Trace to S.R. 80 (Village of Wellington)
DESCRIPTION: Construction of a 6-lane divided roadway from the existing 4-lane.
RESTRICTIONS: Milling and paving operations will start on August 18, 2008, from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. There will be 2-lanes open in both directions.
2. LOCATION: Greenview Shores Blvd. from South Shore Blvd. to Wellington Trace (Village of Wellington)
DESCRIPTION: Widening of the existing 2 lanes to 4 lanes divided.
RESTRICTIONS: All lanes are open; however minor work with lane closures may occur.
3. LOCATION: Ocean Drive (C A1A) from Celestial Way to Celestial Way (Town of Juno Beach)
DESCRIPTION: Underground utility work.
RESTRICTIONS: Lane closures may occur.

4. LOCATION: Okeechobee Blvd. from Royal Palm Beach High School to east of the Florida Turnpike (Village of Royal Palm Beach and City of West Palm Beach)
DESCRIPTION: Construction of an 8-lane divided road from the existing 6-lane.
RESTRICTIONS: There will be lane closures Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Also, from Royal Palm Beach High School to S.R. 7 there will be nightly lane closures from 8:00 P.M. through 6:00 A.M., Sunday through Thursday.
5. LOCATION: Haverhill Rd. from 45th St. north to the C-4 Canal (City of West Palm Beach and City of Riviera Beach)
DESCRIPTION: Widening of the roadway and replace the bridge with a culvert.
RESTRICTIONS: Two-way traffic is being maintained.
6. LOCATION: Congress Ave. at Golf Rd. (Town of Boynton Beach)
DESCRIPTION: Underground utility work.
RESTRICTIONS: All lanes are open, however periodic lane closures may occur.
7. LOCATION: Lyons Road from Linton Blvd. to West Atlantic Ave. (One Mile Rd.) (west of the city of Delray Beach)
DESCRIPTION: Reconstruction of the existing 2-lane roadway.
RESTRICTIONS: Trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway for utility work.
8. LOCATION: Hypoluxo Rd. from U.S. 441 (SR 7) to Hagen Ranch Rd. (west of the City of Boynton Beach)
DESCRIPTION: Construction of a new bridge and connecting roadway over the Florida Turnpike.
RESTRICTIONS: Contractor is working from east of US 441 to east of Lyons Rd. No lane closures expected.
9. LOCATION: Woolbright Rd. Bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway (City of Boynton Beach and Town of Ocean Ridge)
DESCRIPTION: Bridge Rehabilitation.
RESTRICTIONS: The bridge will be closed to all traffic from June 2, 2008, to September 9, 2008. Traffic will detour via: U.S. # 1, Ocean Ave. in the City of Boynton Beach and A-1-A.
10. LOCATION: Clintmoore Rd. at Military Trail (City of Boca Raton)
DESCRIPTION: Construction of turn lanes.
RESTRICTIONS: Expect lane closures Monday through Friday during the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
11. LOCATION: Donald Ross Rd. from I-95 to Prosperity Farms Rd. (Town of Jupiter and City of Palm Beach Gardens)
DESCRIPTION: This is a permit project to widen the 4-lane areas to 6-lane.
RESTRICTIONS: Lane closures from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Friday.
