Veterans Exemption
The Property Appraiser's Office is pleased to provide you with this Veterans Exemptions form to request a certification letter from the Veteran Administration.
Exemptions for veterans are available to all taxpayers who have been disabled in a service-connected disability.
A veteran with 10%-90% service-connected disability requires form letter FL 27-125 from the VA. This entitles you to an additional tax exemption savings of $5,000.
A veteran with 100% service-connected disability requires form letter FL 27-333 from the VA. This entitles you to total exemption from ad valorem taxes.
A veteran whose disability is not service-connected requires form letter FL 27-444.
