CANOEING at RIVERBEND PARK
The Loxahatchee River supports many species of native animals. Among these are the bald eagle, raccoon, otter, deer, and the American Alligator. Traveling the river by canoe affords the best view of these animals, as well as a variety of plant species-even cypress trees hundreds of years old!

The complete six-hour trip, including return bus transportation, is available for $20 per person. There is no charge for children 12 and under accompanied by a parent. An hourly rate of $20 for the first three hours and $4 each additional hour is available if you prefer to paddle for an indefinite period of time and return the canoe to the starting point.

Canoes are available Wednesday through Sunday and reservations are recommended. For reservations or further information, please contact Canoe Outfitters of Florida [External Link] at (561) 746-7053.
