The second annual Skatefest competition, sponsored by Skates USA, will be held on Friday, November 14 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm with warm-ups beginning at 5:00 pm at West Boynton Park and Recreation Center’s Skate Park.
Competitors are welcome to register for one of three divisions: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. The fee is only $5 per skateboard competitor and spectators are free.
Registration will be held November 3-12 at West Boynton Park and Recreation Center. Helmets are required for all ages. Persons under 17 years of age must have a parental permit on file and be issued a sticker by the West Boynton Recreation Center prior to use of the skate park.
West Boynton Park and Recreation is operated by Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located at 6000 Northtree Boulevard in Lake Worth behind Park Vista High School.
