Payment Options for Local Business Tax Receipts

Local Business Tax Receipts may be renewed through the following methods:

1. With a credit card- on the website

2. With an E-check – on the website

  • E-Check is an electronic funds transfer that withdraws money for the payment amount, directly from the taxpayer's bank account. An E-Check will only be accepted if drawn on a United States (U.S.) bank account and payable in U.S. dollars.
  • No additional fees apply to E-Check payments.
  • Click here to go to our Local Business Tax payment center.

3. With a check - by mail

  • Make checks payable to: Tax Collector, Palm Beach County.
  • Pay the amount shown on your renewal notice. Click here for an explanation of your notice.
  • **** Sign the check **** (if by mail) .
  • Use the return envelope enclosed with your renewal notice to return the bottom portion of the notice with your check.
  • You will receive your new Local Business Tax Receipt within a week to 10 days.
  • Send payments to: Tax Collector, Palm Beach County, P.O.Box 3353, West Palm Beach, FL, 33402-3353.

4. With cash, check, money order - in person

  • Service Center locations
    • *Payments should be made on the first floor at the West Palm Beach Service Center
  • NOTE WEBSITE PAYMENTS: When making an online payment, your taxes are not considered paid until the funds are received from your financial institution. You will receive an email confirmation indicating the payment is pending. Check back on the website in three to five business days to confirm the final payment. Payments are considered received on the date your electronic payment is submitted, until 11:59PM.
